It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Design Contest WIN 4000 POINTS, 20$ AND MORE!I've wanted to hold a design contest for a long time now, and finally I've gathered enough points to do it :D

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Appreciate Your Admins!!

Go and check out $Moonbeam13's journal about staying positive and showing some kindness to deviants, including those overworked admins we've got! I read !1121113's news article, and I'm really astonished at the work he put into gathering up all the information, getting user feedback, and of course the amazing idea. So go on and give !1121113 a hug, as well as $Moonbeam13 for trying to help positiviate (i know it's not a word, let's make it one! positive + deviate = positiviate!) the community.

So what can we all do? Like $Moonbeam13 mentioned, critique some art, or at least comment! I know some people don't even do that (don't look at me <_< ). Talk to a random deviant, or greet a new one! Don't forget our helpful staff, admins, and volunteers on dA. Help spread love and joy in the community.

Speaking of admins!
There's even a club on dA for Appreciating Admins - #AoAClub, "Appreciation of Admins", a club where members can show their love to the admin here on dA, by submitting art for admins. The club helps spread the word about different things going on in the admin community, like `hexentanz stepping down from administration to focus on things other than dA. "Appreciation of Admins" club has recently come back from it's disappearance, and needs some support again (and maybe a sub lol). An easy way to show your appreciation for admins.

Yeah I read that journal too :) And had a look see at the news Articles :) Some interesting ones there.

UNO .. Hmmm isnt that a card game? lol..

and yay ~AoAClub :D I hope someone donates a sub :( Need to get everything all up and running again. But without a sub it makes it hard to really get into it :(
